Our smoked Black Salt offers subtly woody notes, an intense hot and spicy fragrance, magnified by the delicate touch of Oolong tea. Oolong tea offers very rich aromas of honey and hazelnut, due to its oxidation.
This unique blend creates delicately fruity, spicy, woody and toasted aromas, all of these characteristics blend perfectly with the volcanic aromas of Black Salt. The spiciness of Pili pili, also called Bird Pepper, brings warm flavors that intensely enhance the taste.

This atypical combination with surprising flavors goes perfectly with all types of meats and vegetables. But it also sublimates marinades for fish and seafood with finesse, with its intoxicating smoky notes. We also recommend it at the end of cooking, to sprinkle or to incorporate in a sauce.
